Everett H. Parker,
Of Counsel
Mr. Parker has practiced
in the areas of domestic and international corporate and banking
law. Formerly, he has been a partner and managing partner in a large,
multinational US law firm and in-house counsel at BankBoston N.A.
(now FleetBoston Financial).
Finance
and Banking.
Mr. Parker worked regularly with banks on secured and unsecured
loans to large corporate and middle-market borrowers, many of the
transactions having cross-border aspects. Such matters involved
drafting and negotiating loan documents for multi-million dollar
financings, both for individual banks and banking syndicates. He
has also worked extensively with banks on loan-workout and bankruptcy
matters.
Corporate.
Mr. Parker has represented a variety of corporate, partnership and
joint-venture clients, dealing with all aspects of their affairs,
including mergers and acquisitions, both domestic and international.
Mr. Parker holds an A.B.
degree from Dartmouth College (1952, cum laude, Phi Beta Kappa)
and a J. D. from Harvard Law School (1955).
